The Velvet Jetpack Series by Artist John Keddie | On Tumblr | Buy Prints |

A velvet jetpack sounds like a marvelous way to travel. I’d love one.

Who’d have known your stomach could double as a camera?

Two UK students, Josh Lake and Luke Evans, ate 35mm film and were able to process photos after the film, erm, came out!

People eating loud or breathing heavily for no reason are both massive pet peeves of mine. (Not in every case, I’m not completely crazy)
I’m glad this has validated my annoyance.

My inbox right now makes me so happy.

I have an email from one of my favorite people who is, for the most part, off the grid until like July.

Then I have a notification that a Kiva Loan was paid back a little bit (money to re-lend!).

Then I have another email from the same person, which was a wonderful suprise.

AND THEN, I have an email containing my tickets to Brand New in August. Arhghhhh!!!

Swoosh. Swoosh. Swoooooosh.

So alien, yet so calming. One of the extreme oddities of nature’s forms, no?

This is amazing.

The Incredible Hulk’s Skull Anatomy
With remarkable attention to anatomical detail, Glendon Mellow gives us an imagined cranial cross-section of the Hulk. I really love how he studied related primate and hominid bone structure and musculature in order to come up with a biologically realistic Hulk. I give it a 10!

I am the left brain. I am a scientist. A mathematician. I love the familiar. I categorize. I am accurate. Linear. Analytical. Strategic. I am practical. Always in control. A master of words and language. Realistic. I calculate questions and play with numbers. I am order. I am logic. I know exactly who I am.

I am the right brain. I am creativity. A free spirit. I am passion. Yearning. Sensuality. I am the sound of roaring laughter. I am taste. The feeling of sand beneath bare feet. I am movement. Vivid colors. I am the urge to paint on an empty canvas. I am boundless imagination. Art. Poetry. I sense. I feel. I am everything I wanted to be.
